The World in 50 Years, a project for 4TTO students (ANW-ML-CKV-KCV)
We have attended two lectures in the last few weeks: one about the Ageing of the brain (given by Dr. Martin van Boxtel) and the other about Genetic toxicology (given by Prof. Dr. Frederik-Jan van Schooten).
Ageing of the brain
More and more people are getting older these days, because there is better health care and because of that there is an ageing problem.
It has been proven that the older you get, the more diseases/problems you will have, for example memory complains (older people have more complaints than young people, even though 30% of the young people also have memory complaints).
